Patrick - 8th of September

On the 8th day of September,

a baby will be born.
His name, it will be Patrick,
our lives he will adorn.

Not without its struggles,

some bumps along the way.
Time, it will be juggled,
prolonged will be the stay.

Much care will be received,

from midwives one and all.
Address his every need,
his future will stand tall.

Their hearts they are so selfless,

so giving of their time.

In moments when he's helpless,

the midwife bell will chime.

So many reasons to thank them,

the greatest of them all,
is for raising little Patrick,
to health and so much more.
